
Group Bookings
The new location is significantly more weather proof, meaning that for large groups we can give the you the option to book in advance and know 100% you’ll get a seat together, protected from the wind and rain. For groups under 10 we remain a walk in only site. For group bookings (10+) we offer 3 course set menu. The menu is simply a version of the current restaurant menu served family style (on sharing platters rather than individually plated ), with a couple of potential variations that suit larger tables . All the same amazing Pit Kitchen flavours served in a way that allows cater for large groups quickly and efficiently. The menu is fixed, but we can cater for children, veggie, vegan and gluten free guests (get in touch with any other allergen related queries).
If you do not specify dietary requirements in the booking comments we will assume all party members are meat eaters and have no dietary requirements, please do not attempt make changes on the night. Service is exactly the same for large booked tables as for all other customers, there are no tabs for drinks (its pay as you go) or table service. We will equip you with a buzzer which will go bonkers when grub is up!
Please book for the time you wish to eat, if you would like to have a drink and relax before hand then by all means come early, your table will be ready. The restaurant gets incredibly busy, so we need to ensure big tables are planned in and eat at the time that has been agreed, this will ensure service runs smoothly for all customers.
